Portland- Jorie Girod-Willers and Tom Hanacek are pleased to announce, after 18-months of effort, the signing a lease with Bath & Body Works at the Seaside Outlets on Highway 101 and 12th Avenue in Seaside, Oregon. Bath & Body Works (www.bathandbodyworks.com)is a $3.5 billion dollar company and is owned by Lbrands (lb.com) the parent company of Victoria Secrets and Pink. BBW has over 1,600 stores in the United States and Canada. Its nearest outlet store is in Centralia, Washington.
BBW’s Seaside store will be a new proto-type and it is scheduled to open in July, hopefully in time for the 4th of July Holiday. BBW is known as a high-volume retailer and they will be joining forces with the likes of Nike, Pendleton, Helly Hansen, Osh Kosh, Zumiez, Eddie Bauer and many more at the newly updated outlet center.
On a National level, we are excited to announce that Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices-Commercial Division will, for the first time, be exhibiting at the ICSC RECON shopping center convention in Las Vegas next month. The world’s largest shopping center convention consists of over 35,000 retailers, restaurant chains, developers, commercial brokers, lenders and vendors from around the US and the World. This is a significant investment by the Berkshire Hathaway on behalf of its commercial brokers and Jorie and Tom Hanacek will be in attendance having scheduled several meetings with national tenants at our Berkshire Hathaway Commercial Booth!
